JESUS film in Mahamasina village

JESUS film in Mahamasina village

PLEASE PRAY on FRIDAY & SATURDAY

We will be showing the JESUS Film in the local dialect in the village of Mahamasina. We will show the first half on Friday night and the 2nd half on Saturday night. We will have a short preaching time and an invitation to respond. For those of you in the U.S., we are 9 hours ahead of central time so if you pray around 10am that will be when we are starting. Please pray on Friday and on Saturday. We have advertised this on the radio station with the hopes that people even beyond Mahamasina will travel to see it. This is an area that has no power and of course no TV so showing a film can be a big draw.

1.  Please pray for the power of God to be evident there and that the Lord would shine His light in people’s hearts.

2.  Pray for conviction of sin and conviction that Jesus in the one and only Savior.

3.  Pray that many would trust Jesus as their Lord and be radically born again.

THANK YOU!

Jesus Film in the North of Madagascar

Jesus Film in the North of Madagascar

Please pray for the village of Mahamasina in the North of Madagascar where most of the people are held in bondage to Islam and a fear of their ancestors. After working in this area for nearly a year, missionaries will show the Jesus Film for the first time there. Please pray that many will come to watch but even more so pray that many will be convicted of sin and of their need for Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Missionaries believe that it is God’s desire for a church to be planted in this village. Currently, there are five young believers so please pray that God will use this Jesus Film and the preaching after the film to add many more believers to this small group and that they will become a church that will bring glory and honor to the name of Jesus Christ.

What do you do when it doesn’t FEEL like Christmas, when the weather outside is frightfully – HOT! You listen to Christmas music! Jamming to Third Day Christmas Offerings, can put anyone in the decorating mood.

The kids pulled the decorations from the shed, dusted    them off as Andy and I sat back and soaked up the joy they gave from putting up the tree. What a blessing!

What a blessing is the reason for the season! Pray that as we head into this time of celebration,  we can share the true meaning and reason of Christmas to our neighbors and community.

So, what do you do when the tree is up and decorated, the Christmas candles displayed, the nativity set is put in a place of honor and advent calendars opened? . .

 You . . .

watch . . .

 ”Merry . . .

 Madagascar” . . .

 of course!

Thinking of you all during this blessed season of our Lord’s birth!
